May Ranch: A Conservation Ranching Profile

Prairies are too often overlooked; their beauty, biodiversity, and conservation. Something that not many people realize is how important a role ranches and ranchers play in conserving them. Last year for my job at the National Audubon Society I spent three days working in southeast Colorado documenting the May Ranch to elevate the value of prairies and ranchers’ role in conserving them. I’m proud to present the final multimedia ranch profile. Click here to see the wildlife on this ranch and the passionate ranchers dedicated to conserving it.
